You’ve helped plant 1,248 trees by using Carbon Neutral Tape!

We’re delighted that to date, you’ve helped to plant 1,248 trees through using our Carbon Neutral Packing Tape.

Our Carbon Neutral Tape is the latest addition to our bestselling e-tape range, that also includes our 100m rolls of Eco100® paper packing tape.

Carbon Neutral Tape is made from recycled materials and we’ve partnered with an international carbon offset scheme to offset the carbon released during it’s manufacture, transportation and waste disposal as part of their certified climate-regenerative projects around the world.

Carbon offsetting is the process of funding projects that reduce or remove greenhouse gas emissions to compensate for one’s own emissions, in order to achieve a net zero carbon footprint.

So far, we’ve offset enough CO2 to enable 1,248 trees to be planted in reforestation projects. We’re delighted that together we’re making such a positive contribution by the use of our Carbon Neutral Tape.

Using a globally certified programme, each tonne of carbon absorbed from the atmosphere constitutes a carbon credit or carbon offset. To make sure these credits are legitimate, they have to be approved by independent groups which make sure the project is actually making a positive impact on the environment and wouldn’t have happened without the project. The certified programme that we use at Wessex Packaging also does extra work to make sure everything is legitimate, such as using blockchain to keep track of the credits so they’re not counted twice.

The tape is clear with ‘Carbon Neutral Tape Made From Recycled Material’ printed in green, to help identify and support the sustainability message.

Each roll of tape is 48mm wide and 150m long, and available in packs of 36.
