Wessex Retains Top BRCGS Rating

We’re delighted to announce that Wessex Packaging has again received a AA Certification from BRCGS.

BRCGS (Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards) is a globally recognised organisation that is the leading provider of global supply chain assurance programmes, recognised by thousands of companies worldwide.  BRCGS protect product integrity through the most globally trusted certification programmes.

Wessex Packaging’s HQ and National Distribution Centre in Yeovil, Somerset, underwent an annual audit by a BRCGS Auditor, which resulted in the best possible pass mark of “AA”.

This AA Certification is now valid until September 2026.

The BRCGS Global Standard Storage and Distribution Certification reflects best practice and facilitates a process of continual improvement through well-designed risk-based product safety management systems. It ensures the quality and safety of products during their storage and distribution throughout the supply chain. 

With support from leading brands, retailers, storage, logistics and online retailers, the standard has seen 16% year on year growth with sites certificated in over 50 countries. The storage and/or distribution operations to which the Standard is applied can be at any point in the distribution chain from primary production to retail.
