Wessex Packaging Donates to Bristol Children’s Scrapstore

Wessex Packaging was delighted to be able to support the Children’s Scrapstore in Bristol, with a donation of packaging supplies recently.

The Children’s Scrapstore is a Bristol based charity that is dedicated to helping businesses divert reusable waste away from landfill / energy recovery waste disposal, to help improve art and play opportunities for children, young adults and adults.

Based in St Werburghs, Bristol, the Scrapstore has a large warehouse full of varied, colourful and abundant scrap materials that are fantastic for play opportunities, as well as running The Artshop, and an online shop.

All of us here at Wessex Packaging were delighted to be able to offer the Scrapstore a delivery of padded mailing bags, to help them post out online orders.

These A3 size, Jiffy style postal bags were delivered into Bristol city centre by Andy Newman, one of Wessex Packaging’s Operations Team, in Wessex’s eco-friendly electric powered van.

Lydia (Warehouse Resource Team Member at the Children’s Scrapstore) said: “Receiving such a useful donation from Wessex Packaging is really going to make a difference to our operations, and help us be able to help more children across Bristol and North Somerset.
