Wessex Fundraising Success with Macmillan Coffee Mornings!

Our Wessex Packaging teams across the UK came together on Friday 26th September to fundraise as part of the Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning campaign.

With ‘Ultimate Steak Sandwiches’ in Manchester; BBQ breakfasts in Portsmouth; and yummy cakes galore in Yeovil…the Wessex teams had a delicious time raising vital funds for this wonderful charity.

Tracy Coldicott, Operations Manager at Wessex Packaging, who lead the organisation of the events said:

“I’m thrilled to be able to announce that together, the Wessex teams across the country raised a fantastic £1,196 for Macmillan Cancer Support! We’re delighted to be able to pass this onto the charity to help them continue their essential work in supporting the almost 3.5 million people in the UK living with cancer, from the moment they are diagnosed, throughout treatment and beyond.”

The Wessex teams baked, grilled…and ate…some wonderful delights at our various locations.  The day started off with BBQ’d breakfasts for many, and this was greatly appreciated by our warehouse teams and delivery drivers who are some of the first on site in the early hours of the morning! Then throughout the day there were tantalising treats for all the teams!

Fundraising and fun were key parts of the day, but the sharing and conversations with fellow colleagues were priceless.
