We go the extra mile…or kilometer!

We’ve run our business here in Somerset for over 44 years, and we like to think we go the extra mile..or in this case kilometer…for our customers!

That’s why we’re delighted to have helped sponsor the inaugural Chinnocks Chase charity 10k, 5k & 2k trail runs this weekend.

The event took place in West Chinnock, near Crewkerne and Yeovil, with the 10k route covering some tough terrain and gruelling hills! The Chiinnocks are comprised of three villages, West, Middle and East Chinnock and are all located in the stuinning South Somerset conutryside.

The event was created by a sub-committee of the West Chinnock Primary School PFA, to help raise funds for a new librabry building for the school, and as a local company, Wessex Packaging was proud to be a major sponsor.

Our congratulations go to everyone involved on a superb event, from the organisers, volunteers and race marshalls, through to all the runners – all of whom did themselves proud!

We’re particularly pleased to say that our own Erin Fountain and husband James, completed the tough 10k course in amazing times – well done!
