ErgoPack healthy pallet strapping solutions. Official GB ErgoPack Distributor

Strong start to 2018 for Wessex’s ErgoPack mobile pallet strapping machines

At only six weeks into 2018, sales of ErgoPack mobile pallet strapping machines, by Wessex Packaging, have started strongly, as companies across the country realise the benefits that ErgoPack brings to their logistics and palletisation process.

Demand for the innovative ErgoPack machines has led to more production in Germany being allocated to the GB market, where Wessex Packaging is the official distributor.

Simon Watt, Wessex Packaging’s Technical Manager, says “Interest in how the unique ErgoPack machines can help with pallet strapping has significantly increased over the past year, and we’re delighted to be able to bring this technology into a variety of workplaces across the country.”

Designed and manufactured in Lauingen, Germany, the innovative ErgoPack machines are specifically designed to provide an easier, more ergonomic and ultimately more efficient way to strap and secure pallets. Enabling operators to strap a pallet twice in under a minute, without bending, stretching or walking around the pallet, ErgoPack machines not only improve processes, but also the operator’s wellbeing.

In this year alone, ErgoPack’s technology is being utilised by companies in the kitchen appliance; passenger information display; furniture manufacture & installation; bag-in-box packaging; logistics and transport; and domestic heating appliance industries.

The ErgoPack 712E model is proving to be the most popular machine to date, supplying a 9-13mm strap under and around the pallet, and back to the operator by means of an electrically driven ‘ChainLance’ system. The strapping can then be sealed by the operator, easily and without having to move.

Technical Manager, Simon Watt, says “The satisfaction that comes from working in partnership with businesses to understand their packing and logistics operations, and then seeing the solution that ErgoPack can deliver is immense…particularly from the operators’ point of view.”

Simon also delivers on-site training and on-going support to ensure teams are fully enabled to improve their pallet strapping operations.
