Download and read our Plastic Packaging Tax white paper to help you understand and get ready for the introduction of the tax next year.
The Government is bringing in the Plastic Packaging Tax in 2022 and it will have implications across all sectors, industries, companies and consumers in the UK.
In the white paper, our team of packaging experts here at Wessex Packaging, look at the background to the tax and discuss the implications and opportunities for manufacturing, logistics and supply chain operators. They also recommend a seven-point action plan to help advise businesses as to how they best prepare for the introduction of the tax.
To help make it easier for you to find out about the tax; the products that will be affected by it; and to download the white paper, we’ve created a Plastic Packaging Tax page on Wessex Packaging – this is a great place to start off at.
Plastic, marine pollution, climate change and sustainability are all key concerns at the moment, and will be coming much further up the global agenda at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) which takes place in Glasgow shortly (from 31 October to 12 November 2021).
Our insight into how businesses can review and amend their packaging materials and processes to help reduce their future liability to the tax is included in the white paper. We hope that by starting now, businesses will be able to move to more sustainable and eco-friendly packaging solutions and take advantage of our free on-site audits to help identify areas of opportunity.
