Pallet wrapping machines help at national distribution centre

Our pallet wrapping expertise is being shown at a brand new national distribution centre in the East Midlands. Five of our PowerWrapper pallet wrapping machines are being installed in this exciting new state-of-the-art facility for a national retailer.

Our technical team of Kevin Saltmarsh and Simon Watt, have worked in partnership with the customer to analyse the pallet specifications, movements and loadings. They were then able to recommend the relevant PowerWrapper machine for the warehouse operations.

The PowerWrapper semi-automatic pallet wrapping machines are engineered to wrap more effectively and efficiently. This also brings the benefit of helping with the plastic reduction objectives of the business.

These machines will be using PowerWrap® nano layer machine stretch film. This next generation pallet film will ensure the pallet loads have greater stability, greater film clarity to enable barcode scanning, and use less plastic per pallet.

By installing these PowerWrapper pallet wrapping machines, we’ll deliver a lower cost per pallet wrapped, and play a key role in the smooth running of the logistics process in this new national distribution centre.
