Nigel celebrates 25 years!

Nigel Pinkawa, one of Wessex Packaging’s longest serving employees, today (Friday 26th April 2024) celebrates 25 years with the company!

Nigel is a core part of our Procurement Team, and an expert at estimating, ordering and importing many of the thousands of products that we stock here at Wessex.

Having joined in 1999, Nigel has helped the business grow from a small packaging supply company serving customers mainly in Somerset and the South West, to a multi-million pound organisation with major brand customers across the UK.

During his years at Wessex, Nigel has also moved location several times, as the company has grown. Back in 1998 Wessex Packaging operated from a building on Preston Road in Yeovil, but has subsequently increased it’s warehouses and offices significantly, and Nigel is now part of the team in Wessex’s 100k sq. ft National Distribution Centre and HQ on the Houndstone Industrial Estate in Yeovil, Somerset.

With his wealth of experience in warehouse operations, import/export management, purchasing and product specifications, Nigel has consistently been at the core of Wessex’s business over the last 25 years.
