Kevin Saltmarsh – ErgoPack and Technical Sales at Wessex Packaging

We would like to introduce Kevin Saltmarsh to you. He is a key member of our ErgoPack and Technical Sales team.

As Wessex Packaging is the Official GB Distributor for ErgoPack, we’re delighted to have Kevin as our ErgoPack Service Technician covering the north of the UK. Kevin also plays a key role in our pallet wrapping machinery products.

Kevin joined Wessex in 2020 as demand continues to increase for ErgoPack’s mobile pallet strapping systems across the country. Based in County Durham, Kevin takes responsibility for delivering machines to new customers, training new teams, and running routine services across the ErgoPack estate.

ErgoPack mobile pallet strapping machines are designed to enable warehouse, operations, and logistics teams to strap pallets ergonomically, easily and efficiently. The machines mean that operators don’t have to bend, stretch or walk around the pallets. They are designed and engineered in Germany and are helping teams in companies in the UK including Amazon , Pfizer, the MOD, Jaguar Land Rover, Worcester Bosch, XPO and DHL.

Kevin has a wealth of technical and operational experience gained in the waste management sector. He is vastly knowledgeable about process improvement and operational efficiency. It’s this expertise that enables Kevin to advise, install and maintain our PowerWrapper pallet wrapping machine range.

Kevin is an expert in conducting time and motion studies to evaluate logistics and supply chain operations in warehouses, that identify improvements for pallet strapping and wrapping. These studies have delivered significant business benefits to many companies who have been using outdated or damaged pallet wrapping machinery, and also using pallet wrap film that is inappropriate for the job.
