As a family owned and run business, we’re a pretty close-knit bunch here at at Wessex Packaging.

That’s one of the reasons why we believe in looking after each other, and those that we work with.

So, when it comes to any data, we treat it the same way as we like to do business…with integrity, transparency and security.

With the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that we’ve all been hearing about so much, we want to let you know how we handle data within Wessex Packaging.

Rest assured that as a business, and a team, we don’t sell or use your data in an unauthorised way and use data we retain to help us administer the supply of our packaging goods and services.

Under the GDPR’s legal basis for processing data, there are contractual reasons relating to our Terms and Conditions of Sale, as to what data we retain to do business together. There are also legitimate reasons for us to hold data to contact our customers, suppliers and partners. However, we ensure that any data is held securely and confidentially; only retained for a relevant period; and can be requested, amended or deleted if so desired.

In line with GDPR coming into effect from today, 25th May 2018, we have updated our Privacy Policy to explain the type of data we collect and how we use and store it. We will ensure that this policy remains relevant and current.

We appreciate every being a part of the Wessex Packaging ‘family’ and will continue to treat everyone, and their data, with respect, integrity and honesty.
