Fred drives to Poland with aid for Ukrainian refugees

One of our excellent Operations Team, Fred Kendall, has just driven to Poland with aid for Ukrainian refugees.

He’s not one for publicity, but we want to recognise Fred, and the tremendous effort he has made to help those who are fleeing the war in their country.

Fred volunteered his time and expertise to join the Ukraine Support Trip organised by Dorset based Paul Tansey & Mike Browne, to take two lorry loads of charitable donations from the Help from Bournemouth to Ukraine campaign. Karol Swiacki, and members of the fantastic Polish community in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area, launched this campaign to help the thousands of Ukrainian refugees making the journey across their neighbouring borders.

As a family owned and run business with many Dorset and Bournemouth based customers, we’re delighted to have played a small part in this mission by providing boxes and packing tape for the donations. For the journey that Fred and the team made to Poland, we helped with some very hi-vis Wessex clothing.

Fred and the amazing team have travelled thousands of miles to help some incredibly brave people, and we thank them for all superb efforts.
