Flying visit from ErgoPack’s CEO

Andreas Kimmerle, founder and CEO of ErgoPack flew into the UK to visit us last week.

Andreas flew in to Bristol Airport with some of his team to meet up with our ErgoPack expert, Simon Watt, to work on a tote strapping project at the Amazon fulfilment centre in Avonmouth.

The team have been working on a solution to help the Amazon team strap stacks of tote boxes, using a mobile overhead ErgoPack strapping machine. This allows the logistics team to easily move along rows of totes to secure them for moving to other fulfilment centres.

ErgoPack’s unique strapping capability enables the operator to easily strap the totes under and over the pallet, without having to bend, stretch or walk around the pallet – thus making it easy, ergonomic and efficient.
