ErgoPack Innovates at Empack 2025

We took our new ErgoPack RE strapping machine to Packaging Innovations and Empack last week, and it caused quite a stir!

The innovative ErgoPack RE machine makes it super easy for warehouse teams to apply reusable strapping around pallets and totes. Using hook and loop colour coded strapping, warehouse teams can secure boxes or totes onto pallets without awkwardly bending or stretching. This makes the process easier, safer and more ergonomic, whilst also letting the operator reuse the strapping again.

Our Wessex Packaging team took the ErgoPack machine to the NEC in Birmingham, as part of the UK’s biggest packaging show, and the interest in ErgoPack’s innovative system was very well received by visitors.

Our ErgoPack stand had not only the ErgoPack RE machine being demonstrated, but also the ErgoPack X strapping machine – our lithium battery powered model that enables operators to easily secure a pallet twice with strapping in under 60 seconds! Warehouse and, distribution centre teams, along with continuous improvement and health and safety managers, all saw the benefits of using an ErgoPack machine, rather than manually strapping pallets. Being able to see how the ‘ChainLance’ takes the strapping through the base of the pallet, around the pallet and back to the hand of the operator was a big revelation, and made it look so easy!

Visitors to Wessex Packaging stand U12 at Empack are now having on-site demonstrations arranged, so they can see an ErgoPack machine work in their own location, on their own products.
