ErgoPack Founder & CEO visits Wessex

Andreas Kimmerle, founder and CEO of ErgoPack Deutschland GmbH, visited Wessex Packaging yesterday, as part of a tour of global Official ErgoPack Distributors.

Andreas, along with colleagues, Birgit and Sonja, were welcomed to our Somerset HQ by our MD, Mark Barter, and Technical Sales Manager, Simon Watt.

As Official GB Distributor for ErgoPack’s unique ergonomic and mobile pallet strapping solutions, Wessex Packaging is planning a further year of exciting growth and development for the brand.

ErgoPack machines are already used by many companies who strap pallets using plastic banding and are looking to improve their productivity, efficiency, but more importantly, the well-being of their operators. ErgoPack is a proven way to help reduce back strain for operators, by enabling them to strap pallets without having to bend or walk around the pallet.

Companies in Great Britain who are already using ErgoPack strapping machines include Amazon, for strapping tote boxes for internal transport logistics; Pfizer for pallet strapping for national transportation; and a wide range of other companies, including Worcester Bosch, Jaguar Land Rover, Hasbro, Stanley Black and Decker, covering a wide range of industries.

Interest in ErgoPack is growing significantly and 2019 will see further product development to make the machines even easier to use, and more demonstrations of the technology in action as logistics shows such as IntraLogisteX (26th-27th February, Ricoh Arena, Coventry) and IMHX (24th-27th September, NEC, Birmingham).
