ErgoPack Draws the Crowds at Empack 2026

We were back at the Packaging Innovations and Empack trade show last week, and our ErgoPack stand really drew the crowds to see the machines in action!

Billed as the UK’s largest packaging event, the show was held at the NEC, Birmingham, with over 8,000 visitors attending over the 11th and 12th February 2026.

As the official GB distributor for ErgoPack, Wessex Packaging consistently exhibits at trade shows around the country, and this was our third time at Empack.

Our team brought our range of four ErgoPack strapping machines to the show, and visitors to the stand commented on how comprehensive the range was…covering all warehouse requirements and budgets.

The four ErgoPack machines we demonstrated were:

Our team of ErgoPack experts from Yeovil, Manchester, Portsmouth and Felixstowe, were on the stand to show the machines operating, answer any questions, and to provide advice on palletisation processes.

The way in which each machine can eliminate the strain and inefficiency of manual pallet strapping was an eye-opener for visitors. Many commented that their warehouse teams were still manually strapping pallets which involves bending, stretching and, in many cases, using broom handles or sticks to push the strapping through the base of a pallet. Instead, with ErgoPack, operators can stand upright while the ChainLance system feeds the strap under and around the pallet — all in under 60 seconds.

Visitors to the ErgoPack stand were keen to see how these innovative machines can transform pallet strapping for warehouse teams. They recognised that the efficiency and ergonomics of their palletisation processes could significantly be enhanced.
