CHEMUK 2025 EXPO | 21st – 22nd May 2025 | NEC Birmingham

The CHEMUK EXPO returns to the NEC Birmingham on 21st and 22nd May 2025, and we’re delighted to bringing our ErgoPack mobile strapping machines to the show.

ChemUK is the UK’s largest annual chemical, laboratory and process industries expo. The trade show is a must-visit event for chemical industry professionals, particularly those involved in sourcing, supply chain management, operations, logistics, quality control, research, and engineering.

Additionally, plant managers, maintenance teams and those involved in transportation and dispatch of chemical industry products should find CHEMUK valuable.

Entry to ChemUK 2025 is free (click here to register for your free ticket) and takes place in Hall 5 of the NEC Birmingham. The opening times are:

• 09.30 – 17.00   Wednesday 21st May 2025
• 09.30 – 16.00   Thursday 22nd May 2025

Our MorsaPack + Wessex Packaging team based in Manchester will be on Stand J130 at ChemUK, demonstrating our ErgoPack mobile strapping machines and our PowerWrapper pallet wrapping machine.

We will also have the innovative DrumClips on the stand, showing how the stability of drums can be enhanced when loaded onto pallets and trailers.

This combination of strapping and wrapping machines (along with DrumClips) provide solutions for secure and safe transportation of drums, containers and other products in the chemical industry supply chain.

This security and stability of products whilst they are being transported is particularly important in light of UK Government guidelines on how to carry different types of loads on HGVs and goods vehicles. This guidance states that you must secure the load to the pallet to form a single unit before loading the pallet onto the vehicle. Securing the pallet to the vehicle by itself is not enough. The government guidance says that you can secure the load to the pallet using: shrink wrapping; banding; and/or strapping.
