Chemical Industry Interest in ErgoPack & PowerWrapper for Load Stability

Visitors to the chemical industry trade show, ChemUK, were interested in our ErgoPack strapping machines, and PowerWrapper pallet wrapping machine, on Stand J130.

As methods of ensuring that pallet loads are safe and secure for storage or transportation, these two machines offer strapping and wrapping solutions, that are ideal for the chemical industry supply chain.

The MorsaPack and Wessex Packaging teams demonstrated ways of securing loads to pallets to the chemical industry professionals visiting the show. The ErgoPack strapping machine enables a pallet to be strapped twice in under 60 seconds, without the operator having to awkwardly bend, move or stretch. The PowerWrapper stretch wrapping machine not only efficiently wraps the pallet load, but the machine at ChemUK was fitted with a roping device to add extra security and stability to the load.

Discussions with ChemUK visitors to the Wessex Packaging and ErgoPack stand concerned the ability for warehouse teams to secure drums, containers, bags or boxes of products onto pallets, for safe onward distribution, or internal storage.

Some visitors were seeking advice about how to overcome issues such as:

• Pallet loads becoming unstable
• Damaged goods on pallets
• Having the right stretch film to wrap their goods onto pallets
• Options to use less plastic pallet film and be more sustainable
• Options for pallet wrap containing recycled material
• Options for strapping, banding, roping and providing additional security and peace of mind to the load’s ability to be transported securely.

Our team of logistics packaging experts were able to help answer all questions, and advise on transit packaging solutions. Many visitors also booked in on-site demos of the ErgoPack strapping machine, or one of the PowerWrapper pallet wrapping machine range.
