BRCGS Certification Awarded to Wessex & Bayquest Packaging

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded BRCGS A Grade Certification for our Storage and Distribution Centre at our HQ in Yeovil, Somerset.

Having recently been audited by the Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards (BRCGS) team, this excellent performance rating recognises how Wessex Packaging and our sister company, Bayquest Packaging, manage, store and distribute all our packaging materials that we supply to companies across the UK.

The provision of our industrial packaging materials, such as PowerWrap® pallet film; Eco100® paper tape; and our extensive range of boxes, bags and void fill products, are a key part of the supply chain and are used extensively by food manufacturers, logistics operators and e-commerce fulfilment centres. The award of this BRCGS Certification is confirmation of the professionalism and highest quality standards that our Operations Team achieve on a daily basis, that ensures that Wessex Packaging and Bayquest Packaging are pivotal partners in our customers’ operations.

The BRCGS states that the Global Standard for Storage and Distribution reflects best practice and facilitate a process of continual improvement through well-designed risk-based product safety management systems. It ensures the quality and safety of products during their storage and distribution throughout the supply chain.  It shows the customer that the producer has robust product safety systems in place to allow for confidence in the supply of a safe, legal and quality product.

It has been developed with input from leading brands, retailers, storage, logistics and online retailers, the standard has seen 16% year on year growth with sites certified in over 50 countries.
